Financial issues and insurance compensationWe accept a large number of preferred providers’ dental organization (PPO) insurance plans for dental evaluation and treatment. Patients are responsible for their deductible amount as well as any co-payment that is recommended by their specific insurance plan. Generally, not all procedures are covered by the insurance plan.
It is highly recommended that prospective patients review their plan to determine their financial responsibility.
On the other hand, the evaluation and management of orofacial pain and TMJ disorders and construction of oral appliances for snoring and sleep apnea are usually but not always covered under medical insurance plans. We will assist our patients in submitting claims to their medical insurance carriers. Though, we are not in a position to warranty payment of any claim. This is due to the fact that there is a large number of insurance policies that vary in their coverage, limitations, and exclusions. We strongly advise and urge the policyholder to confirm their coverage prior to commencing treatment. We accept payment by check, cash or major credit cards.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
