We are Medicare DME providers for Oral Appliance Therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea
We accept a large number of preferred providers’ dental organization (PPO) insurance plans for dental evaluation and treatment. Patients are responsible for their deductible amount as well as any co-payment that is recommended by their specific insurance plan. Generally, not all procedures are entirely or partially covered by the insurance plan. It is highly recommended that prospective patients review their plan to determine their financial responsibility.
On the other hand, the evaluation and management of orofacial pain and TMJ disorders and construction of oral appliances for snoring and sleep apnea are usually but not always covered under medical insurance plans. Usually, our staff assists our patients in submitting claims to their medical insurance carriers. Though, we are not in a position to warranty payment of any claim. This is due to the fact that there is a large number of insurance policies that vary in their coverage, limitations, and exclusions. We strongly advise and urge the policyholder to confirm their coverage prior to commencing treatment. We accept payment by check, cash or major credit cards.
Our practice subscribes to a national billing company that assists patients in exploring and possibly obtaining payment from their insurance companies. This company charges a percentage of what they may collect. The patient has to allow us to release their health and financial information to the stated company and agree to their terms. When desirable patient can submit an application for a payment plan through “Lending Club” a financial institute that may offer payment plan for a low monthly payment.
